i did it, i finally got my room clean and organized again. feels good to rid the closet and the dresser of stuff you don't wear any more. this is my
clean dresser in my
clean room. gah its been so long since i paid it this much attention. i think i might be able to function again...lol.

we started the day by letting my 14 month old nephew, Reese, drive us to Hancock fabrics. ok, so we didn't really let him ride up front with us, this pic was taken while we were parked waiting for the store to open. look how happy he was to be in the driver's seat...

after Hancock we headed over to Hobby Lobby. Found these cute iron-ons and since i already had a shirt & a onesie to do something with for another project, we decided that we would decorate them with the new stuff we got instead. one says "tweet baby" and the other says "king of the crib". oh so cute...

we finished our mini project and thought we should let our model show off our work for us. he loved it! lol, he was pointing to it and check it out any-way...

my mom and i have been talking about taking up quilting, so this guy (yeah, me, this guy right here) can't seem to pass up a fabric remnant bin without grabbing a handful of 'em to take home to add to our current stash. i bought some from Jo-Ann's, Michael's, Hancock, and Hobby Lobby this week, and i'm calling it quits for a while until we absolutely need to replenish our stock. here's the basket i bought the other day filled with some of our remnants. i can't wait to get started!!

so thats it for today, gotta catch some Z's before 8am gets here.
g'nite.
